Since joining Mission Grove when the community first opened in January, Delaney Cole has quickly become a valued and trusted part of the care team. In just four months, she has made a meaningful impact through her compassion, professionalism, and genuine connection with residents and families.
Born in Leesburg and raised in Lake County, Florida, Delaney comes from a close-knit family. She’s the youngest of three brothers and shares her home with her parents, her fiancé, and three “fur babies.” Family time, especially vacations together, remains one of her greatest joys.

Outside of work, Delaney is pursuing her RN degree in nursing school. When she’s not studying, she enjoys working out, hiking nature trails, and spending time with her dogs. Having always had a knack for art, she also enjoys painting and drawing.
For Delaney, the best part of her workday is the residents. She loves making a difference through small, meaningful actions and building relationships with residents and their families. One moment that stands out to her is helping a family navigate their loved one’s return from the hospital. Her guidance and reassurance helped ease their worries, and they told her she made them feel their loved one was truly safe in Mission Grove’s care. It’s a compliment she’ll always remember.
Delaney also shares deep appreciation for the company and leadership team, crediting them with supporting both her personal and professional growth.
